Electrostatic precipitator design with wire-cylinder electrodes as a particulate matter reduction

Small <span>industries are inseparable from the production of gaseous pollutants. One contents exhaust gases produced small industrial activities is particulate matter. The consequences exposure to matter for too long coughing, cancer, blood coagulation, and death. For this reason, a tool needed capture in gases. Based on problems described, research proposes using electrostatic precipitator with cockroft-walton method because very effective capturing results (ESP) pair electrodes will achieve an efficiency 25.4% when voltage regulator 20 V, while 98.7% 35 V. ESP two pairs 99.5% 30 volts. Installing vibrator as particle thresher at electrode unsuitable low-temperature it produces liquid sticky residue that makes difficult fall off.</span>
